About Aimée.

Aimée's exuberance for expression, desire for escapism, and a lyrical understanding of movement, led her into becoming a professional Ballet Dancer at the tender age of 16.

Her passion for Dance meant that by the age of 18 she has already lived in Liverpool, Australia, London and Germany. Her determination and fearlessness to learn and engulf herself into the world of professional dance as a career, led her to study under the tutelage of the world-renowned John Cranko Ballet School. Aimée then went on to further her career at the acclaimed Stuttgart Ballet Company.

After Germany, Aimée decided to pursue her other passions, where she studied singing and Acting at the University of Western Australia Academy of Performing Arts. Since then she has worked extensively in some of the most prestigious Theatres and Venues internationally.

Training

Pilates was introduced to Aimée through her previous intense ballet training and she accredits this for helping her avoid injury both on and off stage. As a result of her comprehensive ballet training, she teaches with an exacting eye for detail.

Subsequently she embarked on the globally recognised STOTT Pilates training in both Mat and Reformer, Pre/Postal natal Pilates, scoliosis and osteoporosis management workshops and total barre.

Services

Aimée is Based in London works in various studios teaching Pilates, dance and ballet in reputable studios such as Chelsea Harbour club, Core Kensington, One KX, Xtend Barre and Push Studios.

She also offers private home or office visits for either group or Individual clients needs.

Health benefits
of Pilates

Aimée believes that Pilates has endless health benefits. Her philosophy towards the body, to name a few, is to bring internal muscular awareness to the form, safe rehabilitation of joint and spinal injuries, prevention of Muscular injuries, her approach stems from an emphasis on developing breathing techniques, lengthening and promoting healthy posture, as well as maintaining or sculpturing the shape of the body. This of course includes a mindfulness towards movements to strengthen the mind and body for years to come.

Her love for Pilates is centred around Pilates being applied to varied physical standards and shapes. This form can be tailored to any person’s particular need; any individual can start this incredible exercise at any age or at any stage of physical conditioning.

Aimée has experienced the positive and rewarding effects of Pilates and movement that have been life changing and life affirming. She aims to bring those experiences to other people in a safe, warm and productive environment that is fun and engaging.
